Thomas F. Mullin represents clients from the public and private sectors involving issues related to water quantity and water quality, wetland impacts, Everglades issues, endangered species and storm water management. Mr. Mullin represents these clients before all five regional water management districts, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Mr. Mullin has litigated environmental and land use cases in circuit courts, district courts of appeal and the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings representing clients seeking land use and development entitlement approval. He also counsels clients on the green building certification process. He has previously worked with the law firms Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A., and Lewis, Longman & Walker, P.A., and as a civil engineer with Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc.
Mr. Mullin is a member of The Florida Bar, Environmental and Land Use Law Section, the Palm Beach County Bar (Environmental and Land Use Law Committee 2010 - 2011). He is a Board Member of the Palm Beach County Planning Congress (2010 - 2011). He is a LEED Accredited Professional by the Green Building Certification Institute and a member of the South Florida Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council and the Florida Green Building Coalition. Mr. Mullin works with Legal Aid of Palm Beach County and was involved in Leadership Palm Beach County FOCUS 2005 and is the published author of "Hometown Democracy: Growth Management of the People or a Disaster Waiting to Happen?" Florida Specifier, June 2010; "Agencies Battle Over Water Quality Standards - Will Property Owners be the Real Losers?" featured in Leader - Farm Credit of South Florida, Winter 2009 issue, and "AIDS, Anthrax and Compulsory Licensing: Has the U.S. Learned Anything?
