Public Utilities:

We provide legal services, representation and counsel to regulated public water and wastewater utility companies. We have provided services from original certification of public water authorities in Florida and other states in 100s of cases. Our representation of those same entities encompasses all regulatory matters from complex litigation in territorial expansion and rate cases to acting as day-to-day liaison between those utilities and the regulatory authorities.

We also have provided unique representation to protect the water rights of several large landowners in the state by securing certification and water use permitting.

Our representation of public utilities and property owners regularly includes rate and territorial matters involving permitting and litigation before regulatory authorities, Water Management Districts, Florida Departments of Environmental Protection; and state and local Health Departments.

We also regularly provide services related to contract drafting and negotiation involving utility services and other water-related activities.
